Potty Training
Do you have a puppy or older dog that you need to potty train fast? This Potty Training Lesson is designed to get you on the fast track to backyardsville!
In as quickly as
one session, we'll come to your home and help you get set up for optimal potty training success. Learn the secrets to getting your dog to tell you when they need to go, plus other tricks that will help prevent accidents and improve behavior. This training is priced as a single private session (1.5-2 hours) or 4 private sessions to include basic obedience and behavioral counseling.
Private Lessons
Fully customizable lessons to suit your needs on your schedule!
Basic Obedience, Advanced Obedience, Behavioral Challenges and Socialization Exercises are most often covered in these sessions, which average about an hour and a half - once a week.
Discounts are available for multiple lessons purchased in advance.
Need to address some issues at the park? No problem. Private sessions are flexible on location too! We believe dogs should be active members of society and will happily meet you out on the town to do some true-to-life training to improve manners and socialization, or even get ready for that therapy dog test!
While-You're-Away Sessions
Is your hectic work life taking away from valuable training time with your dog? Get some training in for your pooch while you're gone during the day, and reap the benefits when you get home! Come home to a calmer pooch and read our journal to see how our lesson went that day.
Packages include between 1 and 2 hands on sessions where your trainer will show you how to get the most out of your training. These sessions average one hour and are priced as private training.
*Please note: This training is only available for basic obedience and manners training. For the sake of you and your dog, we ask our clients to be present for all behavioral counseling sessions and do not offer While You're Away sessions to address issues like anxiety, aggression, and fear.
In-Home Group Classes
Have a friend who also needs dog training? Is the neighbor's dog a bad influence? Leaps n' Hounds offers In-home Group Classes for you and your friends in your home or at the park. These classes are more economical and provide your dog with the socialization benefits of an obedience class without sacrificing individual attention.
*Gather between two and four of your friends to join and
save a bundle on 1, 4 or 6 classes! Pricing depends on location and number of attendees. Contact us for a quote.
Dog on the Town
Classes will resume in Spring of 2010 - location TBD! Please email us if you are interested in enrolling.
This is an advanced training course that literally takes place out on the town! This class meets in a new location every week to practice obedience, manners, and street-smarts in real-life settings. An excellent training opportunity for dogs who still struggle with excitability in social settings, and a must have for future Therapy Dogs. Classes available weekends, evenings and weekdays. Check out our
calendar for days and times.
*Intermediate level obedience training is recommended prior to attending this class. All training is done on leash or long lead.
With a maximum of 6 dogs per class, space is limited.
